This is an important change to all Marketplace threads.

I have changed the default sort order to thread Creation Date. What this means is that you can't bump a thread with a post.

If you wish to bump your thread in Marketplace you must use Stanley Bumps.



It is the UP arrow icon on the top right of your threads first post next to the green rocket. Stanley Bumps cost Bytes. I am adjusting the Stanley Bump for Bytes pricing.

Vendors = 100 Bytes 50 Bytes 50 Bytes
Uber 100 Bytes
Everyone Else = 150 Bytes

This was done to stop cold all the Low Quality bumps in the Marketplace and to encourage earning and spending of Bytes.

Please note that after you Bump with Stanley in the thread it will appear that the thread creation date has not changed, that's because it is displaying the date from the posts table. But the threads table is updated which is where the sort query comes from. It may effect some search features but nothing should break, please report to me any unexpected behavior or bugs.

EDIT: Important notice, Stanley won't post anymore in the Marketplace. Your thread will be bumped without the Stanley post.

I'm not sure how it's helping to be honest. As soon as Stanley bumps up the thread, it only goes to the top if you click on that section (for example: non free accounts or premium sellers section etc) without showing the thread in the "last post" section. Sellers like me would wanna have our thread showing up in the "last post" section, which is now only possible if the user or someone else manually comments on the thread, and hence Stanley bump losing it's essence.

I get why you implemented it, but what I'm trying to put forward is that sellers will look for reasons to comment or ask others to comment on their posts so that it shows up on the last post column. Yep, I'm aware that on cellphones it doesn't show up
