I hate the look, it looks messy and doesn't look slick, things don't need to look like a 5-year-olds coloring book, It doesn't make it look nicer at all. too much color everywhere makes it harder on the eyes.

I think that's a bit severe. I'm personally not loving it but I'm not hating it either. As each day goes on I'm sure I'll formulate a more solid opinion about it. I do know 100% that without thread rating the forumdisplay page was boing and plain and needed something. This was actually a less intrusive way to add a splash of dazzle to the pages without adding new elements. It also makes sense in the way you can now see the group of the member who created the thread and last post, which I believe is helpful information.

I'm a pretty adaptable dude, I haven't got an issue with the color or change itself being implemented, it's just the view new post pages looks utter aids when viewing it, I use that function for swift post checks and it's normally easy to see threads pop interest, but I'm so distracted with the color vomiting into my eyes, it's off-putting and distracting me from even wanting to check for interesting threads using that function. :(

The thread stars didn't bother me in the slightest, now because ppl whined, I'm stuck with brain seizure every time I check new posts, well done lads.
