Okay, I don't know what is wrong, I hex edited it to my server I made then, I encrypted it and binded it to a song. After I had that all ready I asked my friend's to use them as test dummies. First I sent them the crypted/binded and nothing showed up on the booter, then I just sent them the encryted file, still nothing, then, I sent them the actual bot not encrypted or anything and it still didn't work. I would be very happy if someone where to suggest what I am doing wrong.
(by the way I did every thing through rapid share i.g. uploaded then sent them the link)
I am thinking it may be that I am a my Dad's house and he has verizon dsl and his router is both a router and a modem(brand new). I am hoping it will work at my house where I have t1.

Dude did you port forward by logging into your modem and did you make a 3 digit no-ip.info like (bb3.no-ip.info eg) or just use Metus that way you dont have to hex have

cant just pinging the server with loads of packets work for making the ip crash??

coz i usually use this program and when i get rquest timed out after a lot of loads of packets then i can confirm that the server is booted

like i use this command

Maybe with a really large botnet. But no most all firewalls block ping requests.

How come DoS tools don't work for me? I've tried LOIC and Longcat flooder, along with a lot of other ones, had my friend turn off all of his firewalls and stuff and hit his port 80 for like 30 minutes straight and he still had a perfect connection...

Yes, and i tried all of them(bio zombie, xr 2.1, metus hf edition, and metus 2.8) And yes, I know that you only hex edit bio and xr, unfortunately I will not be able to test it at my house until at least tuesday after noon. You build your server, Hex Editor is not required for MeTuS because it has a server builder in it already.

Didn't read through the entire thread, but a good tip is, if you actually want to know who the HOST is, it is the ip that has the most packets going in/out ;). Might have already been mentioned, but thats just small tip for anyone that doesnt know by any chance.

Ahhh, so that's what I've been downloading off youtube and all those "internal error 295" thing were, it were the bot server to use me as a bot/ zombie for someone's bot network. thanks for posting this so i didnt fall into their trap, ive already removed the bots and blocked them from my dns. but some kids have like 10,000 views on their videos, god knows how many bots they have omfg. ive set-up everything myself now all i need are zombies/ boots.
