[OMNI READ]Something messed up on HF[OMNI READ]

That's a known problem among regular members. Omniscient posted yesterday asking for additional information.

So, if you know the source of this, PM me him.
This has nothing to do with the site bro, your infected with something....
Its not only OP,Its true,I've seen many people complaining about this.
Upgrade to l33t to get rid of all ads.
hackforums.net/upgrade.php
Possible ad problems, I have seen many ad related problems lately.
Also, you could be getting infected by user signatures. I would DL MBAM and post your log in the HJT section.
Quite a few non upgraded members have had this.
This has happened to me, I dont know if it came from HF but it was a infection and the only time it happened is when I was on HF. I would click a link to USER CP or HF home index or something like that and a bunch of different web pages would pop up. So I ran Hijackthis and found that something infected my HOSTs file, and then ran Malwarebytes and got rid of it, whatever it was.

Edit:
This has happened to me while I have been upgraded. So this can happen to anybody here. I should of kept the log but I did not.
i Had this problem its a good thing i had malwarebytes Omni check this out please.
Also had this problem.
Think I am now key logged by the looks of it.
Hey bro this has happened to me aswell but only when i wasnt logged in. So considering you not a upgraded member and everyone saying its never happened to them are upgraded. I think its the ads on the site.
I thought i was infected and i was like wtf ive only been on HF...

Nothing is wrong i hope i have helped you. :)
This has already been suggested and Denied before. We recommend you take the time to read the HF Help Documents section. The answer to your questions should be contained in there.
To remove these ads and get rid of flashing cursors download AdBlock (if you don't wanna support HF/omni) or Upgrade to support them.
I have the same problem! Its really annoying... Please do something
This happened to me too. I was reading some threads in the cryptographic section. I noticed there are some threads that has an advertising on the bottom of the page. If I click the X button in the right bottom corner of the ad, the cursor returns and no more ads are opening. I'm sure it's not an infection.
Just download AdBlocker if you use Firefox and you're saved.
This is happening to most people in the US, but I don't know where you are from OP.

Luckily, I don't get these.
