Are you sure regarding that protection? Nevertheless, your host can sustain UDP and TCP attacks just fine until the point it gets too much.

As a former customer from them I wouldn't bother relying on their protection too much. (of your upstream).
Keep in mind, no negative review to the host, only a notice for OP.
