Clearly I didn't make it clear enough. If there are no parameters (either says auto or blank) just leave it be. Completely ignore that part of the tutorial, because you don't need it.

Yes it looks like it is working. But 2.6 Khash/s is not that much no. A $200-300 GPU can do up to 600 Kh/s if I remember my prices right.

I'm like completely new at mining.
When does pool.omnicoin.cc show me my earnings?
I've only been doing this for about 10 minutes but I want to see
how much I can mine in an hour and if its worth it.
does it refresh every hour or how does that work?

It will take either 60 or 120 blocks for earnings to show.

Yeah because your configuration is/was wrong.
Did you fix it? Otherwise show me your configuration file (change username, worker name, and worker password) and a screenshot of the error.

I'm sorry I didn't create this before. I just didn't feel it would be needed because there are 100 tutorials about mining already (including my gigantic guide HERE), and the method is the exact same from coin to coin (depends on SHA-256 and Scrypt though).
