Have updated the social media services post on the first page.
Now a lot of people offer these, it's a competitive price. What a lot of people do, is they get access to a social media panel (which i shall talk about a bit later) and they post a thread saying they're selling for $0.20 above what they can get them for from the panel. People then approach me and say, i'm not getting many orders and i'm not making that much money, can you help me? I'll list what i think the most important things you need to have to maximise orders and profit.
- Do your research on pricing!
You won't get anywhere with really low pricing. People just won't believe what you are saying, as the saying goes, if it's too good to be true, it probably is. Price is one of a few things that draw people in to your service. If you're depending on price alone, your service won't gain many customers. Make sure you know what you want to get out of your service, if you are doing them for fun (as i know a few people who do) then be willing to make a bit less and offer deals (special pricing for quantity) If you want to be making more of a margin, then offer a higher price and let the orders come in, use the other points you have here to attract buyers.
Now this is important, put yourself in the buyers shoes, look through other threads, look at the successful threads, what do they have, what do the unsuccessful threads have. Most people have paid a designer to make them a thread, this on hackforums alone is a must. You won't get anywhere with a pure text design. Don't make it too flashy as you want your customers to see what they're after and keep reading your thread.
You need to be able to offer the customer their solution and keep them happy. If the order has gone completely wrong, don't be afraid to add extra views or give them a partial refund. You're better going without money than negative comments on your service. The better you can deal with a situation the more likely you shall be to have the customer come back to you. Make sure you are always friendly and answer any questions that they may have as soon as you can. If you get bored of answering the same questions, add an FAQ to your thread so that your potential customers know everything about your service.
Don't be afraid to refund people even if you've placed the order with your supplier. An unhappy customer is going to be posting all over your thread saying you don't fulfil your services. If you can deal with it in a responsible manner, they'll leave your thread alone, i have had times where I've gotten orders for $25, for some reason along the line the order has gone wrong, I've refunded the $25 and delivered the order free of charge, they've gone on to then place further orders with me and recommend me to their friends which in turn made me more than the $25 I had "lost" by refunding them.
Make sure that you have a suitable signature that draws attention, dependant on how much you post, you can have thousands of people viewing your signature whilst scrolling through the forum. You need to make sure that your signature grabs their attention.
- Free services and giveaways
This is a bit of a sore spot within social media. You see a lot of people offering free services just to gain rep. I personally have given away free services as i have had a panel which i had access to for a week that could deliver large amounts of followers/likes to facebook pages and i didn't want the
slots i wasn't using for my service to go to waste so i thought i would give back to the community a bit.
How to provide Social Media Services
There are multiple ways of providing your services, some providers don't like giving away their methods which i understand. However the key methods are as follows. Social media panels, social exchange websites, software to generate the service and through reselling other peoples services.
Social Media Panels:
This is how a lot of people choose to fulfil their services. As their is a wide choice of panels, i have made a list however i won't post the list here, if you are interested send me a pm. You get a set rate from within the panel and you then choose your margin and resell your services. However don't choose these panels purely off of price. If your panel has any problems at any point, you want an owner who will respond to you quickly and deal with your issues. This is what has turned me away from so many panels to the point where i actually partnered with someone and made my own. You always need to have access to multiple panels, you want to know if your main panel shuts down overnight that you'll have a backup plan. Get speaking to the panel owner, find out their problems and limitations then see if the other panels have the same problems, try see which is best for smaller orders and which is best for large. There is a big variety just test it out and find what you like.
Social Exchange Websites:
This isn't a very common method, you complete an action and in return are credited coins, so what it basically means is if you wanted to supply 1000 likes, you yourself would have to complete 1000 likes on other pages too. These are generally slow and have a limit of 2-3k, use these only if you have the coins/credits/points on the site to spare and let the customer know.
Software/Scripts:
This is what the majority of twitter and twitch services are done through, you purchase the software, then using a list of accounts and proxies you fulfil the service. There are upsides and downsides to the service, for example the customer only gets fake users, so through social media panels you can occasionally get real users, however it does mean you have full control of the order and after you've paid off the cost of the bot you are fully in to profit.
Reselling other services:
You can approach current sellers and ask if they have any reseller rates. This may work for people who are completely new to the whole scene, as if you are reselling for somebody they shall also be making money through you, so the more successful you are the more money they get. (Hopefully this guide should cover a lot of the questions though)
Social Media Frequently Asked Questions:
- Do you need to invest to do social media services?
Some panels have no minimum deposit and don't require you to pay a fee to join their panel, if you also are good at graphics you can get those done yourself. So sometimes no. However the average investment needed is between $10 and $30.
- Does the service provide a certain thing (real, high retention, fake, bots etc)
You need to know what you actually provide. I shall in the next update be writing a list of all the need to know questions that customers shall ask.
- Is selling social media services hard?
Social media services are usually quite easy, you had times where you have someone say i wish to buy X amount of facebook likes, you then take the money and just place the order on the panel and you are done. That's quite an easy thing to do. However if you want to be the best there is, you need to put the effort in to provide the support, keep your customers up to date of any problems and deal with any potential problems before it gets difficult.
If you do it right, yes it is profitable, if you make a website and then do SEO etc you can make upwards of $400 profit per sale. (shall be doing a guide on basic ecommerce and SEO too within this thread)
Any further questions please feel free to post here or private message me. I run a group on skype with a variety of social media sellers who all help people out.
