Thread Creation for Ub3r Only

This is a very strong security change, probably it will result in a considerable drop of activity even if scams 'll be reduced.

It is unfair to those who are denied ub3r for whatever reason, I obviously run a completely legitimate currency exchange, have over $5000 worth of BTC sold, and tons of vouches, but I still get denied for ub3r, not sure why, regardless, I don't really like all this l33t stuff going away :(

But, your the head judge.

Exactly, it's completely unfair. Some l33ts are actually great legit exchangers just because some people are ub3r doesn't mean they are trusted. Lots of ub3rs/l33ts scam as well. So there really isn't a point to do that.

The major word in your sentence is Some. Omni wouldn't waste his time by going through all of users to decide who can and who cant have access. You have to believe that possibility of ub3r scamming is way way lesser than anyone else. This is actually a betterment of HF imo.

Edit: Moreover, omni hasnt banned others for exchanging. You just can not create threads. You can still exchange with others who can create threads or post in "official exchange threads" by few big exchangers.

I will NEVER DM you first on Telegram/Discord

Always confirm you are talking with me on site using PM. Always use contract. I do not do currency exchange/gift cards/AGC.
Why not allow 3p1c people create threads, we after all are the first to buy something official from HF with OMC.

Which is irrelevant in this case. Anybody can buy 3p1c for a relatively cheap price so it would be easy to turn around and scam for hundreds. You need approval from Omni to upgrade to ub3r. No user group is perfect but this new rule should help.

The reasoning for UB3R only thread creation is the inspection of accounts before approval. Anyone can hop on a new account, do a few things and buy 3P1C/L33T. They gain a few reps and do a few legit exchanges, then go on a huge scam spree.

Good idea. Another reason for me to upgrade as well.

Actually no, any ub3r can go and scam. It really doesn't matter. It's just sad to see that l33t's keep getting less permissions sometimes. Even though you see a lot of l33ts scamming but you see lots of ub3rs scamming for small and large amounts too. Which is why I think this is unfair.
This is Unfair, Then how can we sell OMC in HF. Not all the members are scamers.

Anyone has the potential to go scam, even group owners have in the past. There is no way to completely remove scamming, but this greatly reduces the chances.

I would recommend ub3r and l33t + 3pic for this.
There are a lot of l33t members that don't deserve this. And we know if they have 3pic they have at least SOME experience with crypto currencies.

They can always apply for an Ub3r membership, my friend.

All purchased on scammer websites devoted to ripping off members of this community. They buy accounts and l33t are the cheapest. They'll get as many accounts at once as they can then use them all to vouch for each other. And while there is often 1 ub3r account involved there is more often 3 or more regular or l33t accounts involved.

I'm the only guy that sees this type of pattern from the backend and I'm the guy that makes the policies here. If you feel the Marketplace is pushing you out and you can't get Ub3r then so be it. That's not my problem if you can't conduct commerce here.

My problem is dealing with the systematic victimization of our whole community.

That's such fucking bullshit I don't even know how to respond. It's like saying in high school there are way more mature students than teachers. Only reason is because there just happens to be fuckload more students. Not that percentage wise they're more mature. There are over twice as many l33t as ub3r. L33t requires no approval to upgrade and members can join and become l33t that day. So for you or anyone to try to say l33t overall are higher quality and more trusted than Ub3r is fucking bullshit...serious fucking bullshit. I should demote you and seee how fast you beg to be ub3r.

Most of the ub3r accounts that you find untrustworthy are often sold or stolen accounts. They are sold and stolen only because they offer a better value to scammers. But that's like saying banks are unsafe places to keep your money because they get robbed. Well duh...

And you nor anyone has any idea of the amount of sold accounts I closed every day...every single day. I spend hours upon hours checking IPs and reviewing account history. And most of the time they target this section for easy scamming. I'm fed up.

I should require every single fucking Marketplace post to be manually approved and every single fucking seller required to post their DOX. How would you like that shit?

Stop being irresponsible and I won't have to deal with this crap. Know who you're dealing with. Do your fucking research.

Dope. This is a reasonable section to put something like this into place in. Definitely satisfied with this implementation.

I would argue, however, that something more secure could be used as a catalyst rather than having contributed. This section is built upon credibility and seeing prerequisites reflect that would be pretty comforting.
