http://www.android.gs/android-5-0-lollip...d-to-know/

Android 5.0 will be released tomorrow (November 3, 2014) for all Nexus devices. It is unknown when Samsung, LG, or Motorola will send out OTA updates, but HTC will send out theirs 90 days from tomorrow.

June 25, 2014:

Earlier today (June 25) at Google I/O, Android L was announced, along with a developer preview being released on Thursday, June 26 for the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7. This is a thread for discussion regarding Android L, which may be renamed to Android 5.0 in the upcoming weeks (conjecture).

To those of you who remember Quantum Paper being announced, it has been renamed to "Material Design". This brings a brand new UI to Android. Lockscreen notifications are now interactive, you are now able to see literally everything that is bringing your battery down with Project Volta (Project Volta also includes a battery saving feature, and a useful new API called JobScheduler). If you are in immersive mode or fullscreen and receive a notification, you no longer require GravityBox's Heads Up mode (Xposed module). Heads Up mode is now a feature of the operating system itself. Dalvik is finally retiring and ART is going to be encouraged for use with Android development.

More features are going to be discussed and released after the developer preview has been out for some time.

Installed this on my Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 today, looks great so far.
From what I've heard, Android L has been running more smooth than KitKat. Things are looking up. Anybody here who has the two compatible Nexus devices, please keep us updated on features.
OP please fix your XDA link. The part after the last slash isn't needed.

Thank you for telling me about that. I didn't notice that. Fixed.

I've had it installed for about 2 days now and I noticed a lot of stability issues. Twitter has not be able to work at all and there have been a bunch of random crashes and transparency issues with some apps. I'm really excited for a finished product though.

I'd take a good guess and say that the first few phones to receive a port would be the LG G2, Samsung Galaxy S4/S5, Samsung Note 2/3, and the Nexus 4.
Have yet to get Android L/5.0 working with TWRP, MultiROM, and a N7 2013 [LTE]... Unfortunately, never bought the N5, as I'm waiting on the OnePlus One. From what I've seen of images and recordings, Android L looks pretty impressive so far.
