No, you can tell they don't host on youtube. Their player don't even have the "Youtube" button on it. So it's safe to say it's not hosted on youtube, but just a slightly custom version of it.
No, Nyaa isn't going to become another Crunchyroll. Thats nearly impossible. Crunchyroll is pretty much the only legal way to watch the latest anime online via streaming. They pay a whole lot of licensing fees, and have contracts with the original anime Networks to stream it.
Unless the Nyaa guys have a few dozen million dollars laying around. Thats not likely.
I think he ment by how it works and streams but yeah i think so too, but i still love this site 👍

Im almost certain Kissanime and us use the same method. No hate taken. ^^
Just remember though. this is primarily an AA project for us to work together on, its not meant to be a site competing with other streaming sites. ^^

I just got done getting caught up on SAO season 2, and it is extremely fast and high quality. You should be proud of this site, well made with great anime on it.

I think you should definitely try and compete with other streaming sites, and market the site for general anime audiences. For one, it could potentially pay the bills, and two why not try and offer good free streaming to everyone?
The site is totally available for everyone, but im just saying this is primarily a project for aa members to work on. Trying to compete with other sites wont take priority over that. ^^

How is it a blog, it has news updates, however mostly anime on it. <3
So im assuming that you guys wont be uploading the newest anime episodes immediately as i say that you have not updated Tokyo ESP yet or Zankyou No Terror but when do you upload them? A day later or when who ever is in charge of the series updates it? Nonetheless I will continue to use the site since it AA runs it and the streaming quality is very good. Keep it up.

Whoever is uploading SAO II, good on them for being so proficient. I don't have an upgraded CR account, so I don't want to wait a week, so thanks to them I only need to wait a day or so at maximum. Along with the amazing quality <3.
Might I ask how your series are recorded and uploaded? Would it be through just recording the video off CrunchyRoll then editing it so you remove all the skips and other nonsense, then upload it? Which is fine by me, I'm just curious how you have such good quality streams so quickly. 🤝

I've started uploading Episode 5 right now and it should be up as soon as Tasemu comes on to put it on the website, same with Aldnoah.Zero! :)
