We are L'appel du vide.

A group of sophisticated individuals, we hold our own. A standard that has yet to be defined, we continue our advance towards infinity. While some dust may linger in our wake, swiftly it will be swept aside. No longer will mediocrity be standard while we exist.

Open recruitment will be held beginning next month. September 1st will be the start of something new, but something so familiar. I will begin the final steps in the completion of L'appel du vide.

Subjects that are covered extensively within L'appel du vide are as follows:

Every member within our group is assigned a certain rank. Each rank corresponds with multiple types of requirements. Such as posts in and out of the group subforum, character count minimum, weekly discussion threads, and more. Yes activity is forced, but in such a way that for the greater good.

The current member base has a month to prove itself to me before I began my reign of terror against my members. I plan to reduce my group to roughly 100 members prior to recruitment. If my members can prove they deserve the right to stay, they will be allowed.

Our current member stats and leaders

Prior to recruitment, our blacklist will be made public. Our blacklist is ran by our members with completely anonymity in regards to their status to the community. If you see yourself on the blacklist, assume I put you there. If you wish to still join L'appel du vide while on the blacklist, expect to go through extensive requirements. I owe no promises to anyone, and I have no obligations to fill.

You know, you should learn proper spelling and grammar if you want to pride yourself as "epitome of intelligence", as something like that shouldn't be hard for "sophisticated individual" like yourself.

I don't even care about other people's grammar and spelling too much, I am not grammar nazi who attacks every post which has mistakes, but it was hilarious and ironic how you pride yourself as someone highly above mediocrity, yet have so much trouble with basic English. It just seems way too ironic to me. Hopefully I don't need to point out those mistakes, and you can double read your post and spot them. If not, ask one of your other "sophisticated" colleagues to help you with that.

Oh and in before -rep from you or one/couple of your "sophisticated" colleagues for toying with you. But I guess after I mentioned this you are going to try and play it cool. Or ignore the message. Or thank me. Of course if I wouldn't have mentioned this, more than likely you would've picked the 1st option. My free time is spent with my family, work, other situations that don't relate to HF in anyway, and then any time left I have is dedicated to this lovely forum. After I finish responding to your poor attack on me, I will scour through my ramblings. I think my post history can attest to my overzealous activity on this forum as of recent.

What an entitled brat. Wow. You work. Welcome to adult's world, most people who can find jobs work. Most people have families and spend time with them. Did you just seriously state things most people do and wanted to take some sort of credit for that? As if you do something so special that barely anyone else does?
