I have updated version and hiding doesn't help anything because SAME ads will be on my HF when I change page. Really annoying to me also when there is 3-5 different notifications on my screen -_-

Honestly if you're gonna help out community for "free" which this is advertised as, why the hell would you add ads? Also 10$ a day for 500 impressions(your stats) is also a rip off, you cant guarantee a single click(what PPC sites does) so your advertisement is useless, those who dont realize it will pay you but the next day even stupidiest marketer will understand how utterly useless it is. Also the fact this is "scammer database" by name itself should be helpfull to others, not annoying as its at this moment. If pocket change will suffice the amount of people you just lost who uninstalled this script, be my guest.

You're not getting paid for it, but you wont be able to pay off food for 1 day with this shit either, I explained you why above. Uninstalled as well, will rather risk 10$ in exchange instead of clicking the "x" every 6h.

Oh and one more thing, your stats are incorrect as well, most people use HF on mobile, thus your script doesnt work on it, which means those 500 isnt correct either, so this is false advertisement. I could go on all day long why this wont work well, but why waste time when you clearly have no clue.

I dont see anything wrong selling signature space, you're selling a spot on your profile ( read carefully, YOUR profile) instead of slamming ads on EVERYONES profile. See the difference? This is almost as equal to Mass PM (which isnt allowed on HF).

I understand the whole false advertising bit if that is accurate, I don't know the numbers so I am not going to comment on the validity of that claim however what you are saying makes sense if the numbers do back it up. Now per your claim that his selling of ads is far different from selling sig space, I would have to disagree rather strongly. This is his database, that he has hosted, its his script that he put the time in to develop. He can monetize his IP as he deems fit, if you don't like it you don't have to use it. If you think this is such a benefit to the community and you want to go through the time to develop a competing script that doesn't have ads then I encourage you to do so. However I don't think its fair to claim that he cannot develop his script with ads, there are many free tools and programs that use ads as a source of revenue I don't see why xerotic is doing anything different than anyone else who is participating in the free software business model. If you don't like the ads, that is totally fine but why don't you just delete the script and move on?

Too much ass kissing right there, as people stated couple of times, such script is rather easy to make for anyone that has even slightest clue how it works. I wont name anyone nor say I can do it, however it's not rocket science so dont threat it that way. The second part of your post makes no absolutely sense, this aint no software business model, this is a script, on a website that isnt even his so basically he's absolutely not allowed to take advantage of it, atleast not with this kind of annoying ads. You probably payed yourself or never even used the script, however those numbers will back up each and every statement, you're paying for impressions not clicks, thus you arent guaranteed a single one, while I can use 10$ to generate almost thousand views, instead of wastefull impressions.
