Do you re-watch anime? |

I've re-watched certain episodes. Death Note final episode was one that I've rewatched around 10 times over the years. Aside from random episodes I've rewatched the anime I rated 10/10. I sometimes get the feeling of I want to watch an anime but I don't want to start a new one, so I end up rewatching something. The only series I've rewatched more than once is Clannad, I think I've rewatched that around 3 times. The feels are strong in that and always seem to get me.
If it's a good series with a lot of key plot points which are easy to miss, yes I tend to rewatch shows. Shows like Code Geass or Death Note I've re watched about 3 or 4 times each, changing between sub and dub each time. Shows like Naruto or Bleach however aren't as easy to re watch, as they consist of over 300 to 600 episodes. I just finished watching Code Geass for the 3rd time, and I still find things in there which I missed the first time. Same with Noragami or even FMA:b.

I never tried to watch dub anime although I've heard most of my favs have awesome dubs, but I am one of those who hate dubs for "no reason" I guess.. I might try... But it removes the charm of the japanese language and hearing it for the second time with different voices might be a bit weird and unpleasing Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria is a masterpiece 10/10

I need to start re watching Death Note again as it's really good (first 25 or so episodes that is) but it's been like 4 months so far. The way I look at dubs is like this; Quote:The voice actors are more fit for the roles in Japanese, however instead of trying to fit with society or impress a group.. just watch it how you want to, if you're going to multitask do dub so you don't miss plot points, but do sub if you're concentrating on the show and want the original experience intended by the writers.https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?ti...id43087115 When you watch a show or anime, watch it for you... fit to your needs, don't try and impress others over the internet as that means you're not actually enjoying it. I love dubs and subs, they both fit to different roles. When I farm gold in World of Warcraft I watch dubs so I can still hear the story while I play, and I watch subs when I'm only concentrating on the show so I can see the original experience intended for me by the writers. |
