I have not seen you online hardly at all in the past 2 days, I'll see if we can pull the information on who's been online how long... I was online from 7AM - 10PM yesterday, it's 7AM again and I'm online now.

I've popped in several times within the past 3 days, all those times you've been on for a hour then logged off then you were no-where to be found.

At least be honest and don't say you're online most of the day.

The inactivity by staff isn't all true: Detoxicate is on literally whenever I am.
I agree that Peach and Apple aren't on very much, but I believe this to be a time zone issue as they come on late at night (for me) and they are always on when I go off (between 12pm and 2am GMT)

The lack of anything custom is partially true - I know that Apple worked hard on a variety of plugins, but I don't know exactly how much is "custom" besides /fly

There is a severe lack of activity overall. My old faction members don't play anymore, so it is almost like it is just me. We can thank a lot of reasons, such as Peach being corrupt in V3, the downtime between V2 and V3, the downtime between V3 and V4, and the loss of things such as McMMO and the map in V4 (to name a few); despite all of this, I think Peach can make it work again (as a more intense factions server than V2 was)
Likewise, there is a severe lack of communication.

I'm going to be honest here, I believe an award is actually one of the reasons why the server has gone to shit. Why? Because a shit ton of people played HC for the money (through awards, selling EM etc.). Without the motive for an active economy, there won't really be so much of a server.

Another problem with the server is that there are three main factions that have the biggest advantage (including mine huehuhe). Those that start the earliest have the best advantage, although this is the case for all servers. Not much we can do on that front.

I'm sorry to say, but if it wasn't for the awards no one would of even played HackerCraft.

I'm actually really disappointed in this server now. I've hopped on for a few minutes 4 or 5 times yesterday, and there are only 4-5 people online AT MOST. Furthermore, out of my visits, Peach was only online once, and he ignored me.

Reasons why I don't like this server:

1. Inactive: No people online (to be expected), and there aren't any names that I don't recognize from the old server. There was no indicator that the server was actually back online; the only reason I knew that HC was back up was that the server showed up as online in my servers list.

2. No motivation to play: There's absolutely no reason that I should play on this server when there's almost nothing different from other servers (I like the player list where it shows the heads, though). This makes the server almost a distasteful prospect, especially when there's almost nobody else online.

3. Extremely expensive ranks for a small server: The server manages less than 5 people at a time, including staff members. Why is there a rank that costs $250? Donations should be for the support of the server, not for a crazy advantage over everyone else.

I agree with the inactivity, also Detoxicate, you're a mod, I agree that you shouldn't have more OP powers, but the servers might have to add an admin? Peach and Apple seem to be quite inactive.

Honestly we need to get away from factions and start another gamemode, this will never work..
Dont feel like playing since no one is online, I could play on another server with a lot more players.

Biggest issue is the low player count, but just look how many of you are saying "I was on for a few minutes and left because there are no players"... I've seen at least 6 different people post this, maybe more and a lot more who feel this way... If you would just come and stay, more would stay too.

I completely agree with a lot of what you guys are saying, I'll speak to Peach as soon as he comes online.

I really think we should reinvent hackercraft.
Here on HF, we have tons of java developers . What about making a privateclient+launcher and add custom mods and tons of awesome shet.

I would LOVE to shoot people with guns and have cannons and special defensive items.
Also, server with obsidian and tnt and raids are outdated. Just change the gameplay and remove the raiding for faction. People will play more and will show nice buildings. Anyway thats my opinion.

Maybe 2 servers ? 1 is anarchy with tons of explosive and cheats allowed and insults. The other one has no tnt and raid but is more of a showoff server. I'm sure you can connect the economies together

I already brought up several suggestions to Peach, he declined them.
I brought the same ones up to the members on the server, they liked them.
Even the moderator on the server see's my point of view and likes the ideas I brought up.

Servers in BETA & and i'm in talks with peach about offering a better dedicated solution for him.
Hence why there's also a-lot of things still left to do BETA's been open a week.
There's not any rush at the minute to make you buy ranks or such like robust did.
There are a few people including myself who don't mind the player count at the minute as its only in BETA.
The way its taking longer is the fact he's not rushing to open past BETA and be full of fucking issues like robust did.
Not forgetting he ran off with the money and only opened it for the money.
