[OUTDATED] DotNet Renamer (Obfuscator/Renamer) ["Dnlib" usage example]

Thank you dude for taking time to answer here. Really appreciated. 👍

It's not really an obfuscator ... I consider this is a simply renamer tool. ;)
I took this and made the same thing but command line. Good work, wish it had strong encryption!

I'm glad to read you've done your own command line version but Why you didn't submitted your improvement on my GitHub ??
I think it could be useful for other like this project was for you......

I don't plan to improve DotNet Renamer but I'm working on DotNet Patcher for personal use.

Thx for appreciation bro 🙂
Updated to 1.1.5 :

- BugFix : Corrupt the binary if it contains app or user settings !

Hey man,
Was studying your source some time ago and I like to report a lil bug:P
Make a testapp which shows a picture in a PictureBox on a ButtonClick.
Make sure you use the Image from an EmbeddedResource.
Then rename everything and when u start the application the image will not appear.
I assume the resource Signatures or Names are not equal anymore.
Anyways good job so far gonna cya on rtn I believe....
Hi Mada,

As I said here : https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?ti...id42939235

DNR corrupts method calls that use reflection.
Calling a method to retrieve an embedded resource is part of the reflection.

The only thing to do to avoid this is to create an exclusion rule for renaming as I do for my private project (binary) !

However Thx for your appreciation.

See you.
Looks nice. I never really looked into Mono, but I think I should start.
