Synopsis

The story begins with Yggdrasil, a popular online game which is quietly shut down one day; however, the protagonist Momonga decides to not log out. Momonga is then transformed into the image of a skeleton as "the most powerful wizard." The world continues to change, with non-player characters (NPCs) begining to feel emotion. Having no parents, friends, or place in society, this ordinary young man Momonga then strives to take over the new world the game has become.

Initial thoughts
I'm glad to see another MMO inspired anime in the midst. It sounds like a mix between SAO and Log Horizon but will hopefully turn out to be better in comparison.

I read some small details from the Light Novel and it sounds like it could have potential.

Airing in 10 days. Hype!

First episode was pretty good. It gave us a bit of a backstory and introduction to the characters.
Momonga is most likely going to be my favorite character, because y'know, how often do you get a OP skeleton as an MC.

The only thing I don't like is his voice. I wish it could have been deeper for being a ghastly skeleton.

Me neither. The OP reminded me too much of Death Parade.

I enjoyed this, has great potential, I just hope that more characters are added throughout the story, having only servants may make the story a bit boring.

I just watched the first episode a few hours ago, I can already say this is looking great. I love how the main character isn't the typical teenage hero, he's a god damn spooky skele-kun.

It so far seems like it'll be a mix between Log Horizon and SAO with the combat and strategy/ leadership. I've already made a Hummingbird group for the anime, so join up if you want to talk about it some more.

I believe it'll be about 4 seasons which'll mean about 40 episodes in total. Not sure yet, I hope so.
