[FREE] [EBOOK] The Hacker Ethos - Beginner's Primer to Ethical Hacking |

Right now, I am trying to slow my pace, actually, as things in life are getting a bit busier with all the work I have coming my way. For now, I am maintaining my course on the book as best I can, while working and going to school, as well as providing a private computer forensics investigation and penetration testing service. Needless to say, most of my free time is quite occupied. If you are skilled and looking to get involved in CHFI work, I can certainly make some recommendations, provided you can show me examples and proof of your skills. Yeah, I've been around a while
You recommended the CompTIA A+ Certification Guide, when I put that into google and go looking for the PDF file, a lot of different ones pop up. Can you please link to the one you was talking about?
I think you was talking about this one: http://www.federaljack.com/ebooks/Comput...ctives.pdf

Can you please link to the one you was talking about? This is a good study-guide. It was published and printed by Wiley, who also publishes the For-Dummies books, which I trust you've heard of. They are a good publisher. However, this book was Copy-written in 2007 and may not contain updated information on the latest operating systems. You want to be certain that you have the most recent edition possible. The A+ exam has been updated as of 2012, and you would be at better advantage to read this material from a source written during or after this time. Great read! Wish it was downloadable for ease of access but other than that, it's fantastic. (:
Moving on in life in such a way that doesn't include HF. HF allowed me to get into the security field and peaked my interest: I appreciate everyone's time, effort, and encouragement. If for some reason you have a means to message me outside HF, feel free to, but I won't be coming back.
Latest Updates
The book is progressing slowly but surely towards a premium release. Most of my time is being dedicated to it, now that the publisher has agreed to sponsor the book and cover full cost for its distribution on Amazon, Ebay, and other sources for hard-copy and digital-copy. Before this book is released to the general public, I will make it available for an EARLY RELEASE here on HF in the premium e-book section once the book reaches 200 pages. Depending on contractual obligations, I may not be able to offer the early release for very long. If the publisher decides to, they may tell me to pull all copies of my book, regardless of the form or draft they came in. For that reason, I encourage everyone to watch this thread closely if they want a copy. This book WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOREVER. When the premium copy is released, both it, and this free version will become available for download. Expect to see it here sometime next month. Also, I have decided on a final price for the early release, which will be $20 per digital copy. Although your support has been tremendous, it unfortunately does not put bread on the table. Believe me, this book will be worth it to you all by the time it is finished. Thanks again for all of your support and please remember to share the book and direct people to this thread. - Your friendly-neighborhood Demon 🤝 Malware Dev & Grey Hat available for contract work.
