Firstly are you using the correct password for the VPN? The VPN password is different from your billing one. Please check the email titled "new account information" for your password.
Secondly, if the password wasn't the issue, please run the "tap-fixer.exe" found in the VPN download.

I opened a port, canyouseeme.org says connection refused. I'm connected to UK, ran tap fix and disabled Firewall.

It is mostly your network error. A few of our clients experienced this error, after investigating, it was their network error.
Please try with different internet connection.
