Please, I already know I'm stupid and I should just kill myself for this.

I'm in a bad position now and I need your help :l
I'll add a TL;DR in the end!

It all started when my friend said to me that his friend could access the school website. This website is nothing like other school websites. The website let teachers post the plans we have for the week (or further).
For example all the test we have coming and the work we have to do and all the deadlines. I'm in 8th grade. I tried to find anything I could about the website. I hacked the DB. Nothing useful there. I then found the panel by a simple google search. The website has no password at all. A Google search and I got the link to change it. I just told 2 of my friends, nothing more. After a good amount of time (2months) I thought why not explaore it more. I found a Admin button in the corner. It redicted me to a login page, on the login in page it said in the top that the password was a. I'm not kidding! It said: "Password is a"
I tried it and it worked. I was in the real panel. I wass tupid enough to select all classes and pressed the remove button. I later on figured out that I deleted all the plans. Everything. You can't access it at all and everything is down. All this happend on the school network with my login credentials and on my school iPad. I proceed to remove everything on my iPad and did a factory reset.
Now I'm afraid that I will face legal charges. I feels so bad I almost vomit. I'm not trying look cool since anyone with a brain knows this is just plain stupid. It will take alot to redo all the plans.

Instead of bashing me for this stupid move can anyone try to be nice to help me out of this. I've been wathcing alot of videos on how to lie if they want to talk to me. The good thing about this is that I have not told anyone but you guys about this. Can anyone help me?

Look's like another guy hacked his schools website and faced leag charges and had to pay half a million swedish crowns... He even confessed he did it but still ahd to pay and he did no damage to the system... My lord. What should I do 😟

TL;DR
I hacked my school's website. Not a huge website just contains the plans for the future. All deadlines and test that is coming. Now I know this is bad and I need help to myself through this.

It's alot fo school work. Thanks for the idea but I don't thinmthat will work and all teh work is on Google Drive so it's on the cloud + it would be stupid. They know me well enough to know that I won't be hacked.

If you're from Sweden (your name gives it away if you are) then you could be fucked, im not trying to make you feel bad but there was another guy here that saw a breach in a town's website and warnede some guys about it and he had to pay 60000$ just because he was in their system. If you know the school principal and teachers well just say that you saw a breach and accidently removed everything or something like that and that you just wanted to warn that people could hack it, idk.

Just looking at the system, it was bad and proablly atleast 10 people browsing the website as tyhe same time I was. I used a teacher code aswell.
The dilemma. I could tell them I accidently removed everything and they will maybe take it light then or they wonät find me at all.

I could get away with it if I'm lucky. Do you guys think I should wait and if nothing happends or if they talk to me I'll say it was me?
Maybe they think it's better if I come to them without them asking.

Well errm. First of all I hope you used some sort of VPN when doing all this. Secoundly DONT TELL ANYONE who goes to your school. Thirdly Act casual and they should find out its you.,

Ive in this TYPE of situation before but a little less harsh than this. I was caught smoking. When I was caught, I just made up some bullshit like "my friends told me and it was my first time" "I messed up real hard and I promise I promise you this will never happen again" fake cry
