Sell the account, or resell the items? If the items come with re-sale rights then yes. If they do not, than no.

For example, reselling envato items is dissalowed because you cannot buy resale rights to the items, though selling the envato account IS allowed.

Are you actually allowed to resell the Resumes or are they copyright/forbidden to resell? If so, you can't resell them on here.

Are you allowed to sell the actual account itself? If so you can sell that.

Yes I understood that, but why? is more my question if Lrrr is right. That makes no sense, I can resell the account but can't resell the items from the account.

Because reselling the items constitutes Copyright Infringement, while selling the account WITH the items does not.

What is so hard to understand about Copyright Infringement....

You can't sell something that's not yours to sell.


You can argue any semantic you want, the end result will be the same. You cannot sell something that doesn't belong to you unless you have RESALE RIGHTS to that item.

I understand, his argument is that it makes no sense we are allowed to sell the account but can't resell the items, which is also against the ToS and copyright infringement.

I do not plan on selling at this point unless omni / staff verify I can. king of hearts did verify I'm not allowed didn't clarify as to why we are allowed to sell the account but not the content

I have clarified already why.

Selling Items - DISSALOWED because the item is not yours to sell, you do not own resale rights to the item.

Selling Account - ALLOWED because it's an NFA and nothing in HF policy states that selling of this type of account is disallowed.

This all has to do with the Copyright Infringement and DMCA action.

There are plenty of things on HF that break this exact rule and go unpunished. The countless cracked hacks/games being redistributed just to name one. Not to mention the rule doesn't explicitly forbid the sale of copyrighted material, just the use, although I'm willing to bet Omni wouldn't care what the rule says.

With that train of thought 99.9% of the items in the market place should exist. I understand your POV Lrrr, but I agree with Mr Whiskey, this rule or area is very grey.

Can you link me to an example? (if 99.9% shouldn't be hard to find one) that breaks the copyright rules? I will try to explain why it is allowed, or if it should have been reported.

How is giving someone access to copyrighted material not against DMCA, pretty sure it is. For example movie streaming sites that link you the content but dont host it, is still against the law for example.
