any reason you had it shipped from out of state? instead of buying it locally? alot of my friends have done this as well with there cars never understood why though.

You can often get a car cheaper through sites like Carmax.com and have them shipped than if you buy locally. You also get a much wider selection. This is the type of car that doesn't get sold very often and the Crazy Plum purple paint jobs are rare. There was only 1769 challengers produced that year with the color, even less on an SRT-8 392 Hemi.

I'll probably end up getting a Camaro after I get my license, though.

Don't do it. They are crap. Never met a Camaro owner that was happy. They are cheap cars unless you get the SS. And their cabin visibility is terrible.
