By this I meant, I was asking if it was still active, so I could edit that post and continue writing. Anyways, I've tried doing some deeds for people during goodwill monday in order to celebrate the holiday. I've also, tried to answer and help people around the forums as I can, like I helped someone with an air purifier situation and also people with computer problems. I also currently have a free services thread still open with a lot of good feedback. This is why I think I'd be a good candidate for an update. Thanks for reading, and sorry for the misunderstanding the thread was really old so I was just wondering.

Yes, it's still active. What do you mean continue your response? Unless you're a multi, you've never posted here before.

I think I deserve to be upgraded to Ub3r.

During my 6 years on HF, I've tried to be a HQ member, helping people out when I can, and generally being friendly to everyone. I've been contributing to Baka News Weekly, which can be found in Anime Adventures. I did once make a tutorial for how to use a certain Minecraft plugin, but that failed to gain any traction. Hopefully I'll be able to do another guide in the future for something else.

I would also like the additional features that come with Ub3r such as trust scan and larger PM box. I recently applied for Ub3r and was accepted first time.

I hope you consider me for upgrade, and I hope to continue assisting other members in the future. Also congrats for having such a long running upgrade thread too :)

Posting because I think I can win L33T upgrade. I don't think I'm HQ but I've helped people many times on here and continue to do so as I like this community more than any other on the net. L33t upgrade will help me to get more out of this community. Thanks for helping everyone here.

Hello,

I'm posting here because I think I could become a good & active member of the community. I'm looking to start making some serious money online however my current funds are all spent into further investing thus leaving me unable to afford a l33t upgrade. What makes me special from others? Basically, nothing really. I don't see myself as a special snowflake or anything like that. I'm just an everyday person who likes to relax, listen to good music and do some productive work. The only argument why you should pick me would be that I'm very active and that you won't waste your money on someone who will go inactive. Having so little PM space is a bit annoying, I have to delete PMs 3 times a day.. Well, thanks for hosting the giveaway, very generous of you.

Have a nice day.

Why i think i deserve to win...

1. I try my best to help/give advice when i can
2. If i have stuff i dont need ill try to give it away to the community
3. I try my hardest to reply to most threads to show my support
4. If users are in need of some money ill help them out
5. If i dont win then thank you for giving us the opportunity, you're a great person and the world needs more people like you

Thanks for the opportunity to be upgraded. So I think I deserve the upgrade Because I help whenever I can.

I deserve to be upgraded because:

• I offer what I believe is a high quality boosting service for this forum. Extremely affordable pricing. Thread link here as someone is hosting it for me: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5645263

• I am in two usergroups, do my best to stay quality inside and out.

• I attempt to help out with tournaments whenever they're presented. (you can't see the posts in the subforums). I also tried to get the community to play 5v5 together, but that didn't work out: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5637253

Thanks for this opportunity!

I deserve to be upgraded because:

I feel well involved and ambitious within Hack Forums and truly enjoy helping others, I have a desire to serve and help others which is why I enlisted 2 years ago in the Marine Corp. / Infantry - 0341 /.

I believe with the proper guidance of others I can be an even greater asset to Hack Forums and bring about a better community overall with my presence. One of the most important aspects of my life right now is my career in the Corp. and second to that is helping and more importantly learning from the amazing member's here on Hack Forums.

Even when I feel somewhat overwhelmed by work, I feel that Hack Forums is a somewhat sanctuary after work that I can come to and find out what the latest and greatest news is and throwing my input into the discussion and meeting new people along the way.

This is why I believe I should be upgraded, even if I don't get upgraded I would like to thank you for your time and even offering user's here on Hack Forums the chance to even be upgraded out of the goodness of your heart. Good Luck.

Hey! I am a relatively new member here but have been browsing this forum for years just didn't have the need for an account until recently (so broke rn haha need ways to make money!) Anyways I hope to be upgraded so I can explore this forums more and interact to more people. Eventually, once I am able to earn, I hope to give back to the community as well!! Thanks for doing this for the people who deserve it (even if you think I don't haha) Good luck!

[Percyi]

I've been a part of this community for many years and it is very enjoyable to browse and post. I love to interact with the community. I love to make posts on threads and help in any way I can. But, unfortunately, I simply do not have the money to purchase an upgrade. I would love to be L33T or 3P1C and explore the community even more. Thank you for this opportunity.

I would like to be upgraded because:

I've been a member since late 2010 early 2011 off and on & have 1.1k+ posts of hopefully some what high quality. (Likely the later years being more HQ as I've grown)
-The time I've been registered has given me a good understanding of the forums, rules & etiquette.
-I've started trying to report posts which fall under the rules such as LQ posts/wrong forums.

Since I've recently returned I've put much of my efforts into helping others in the Hardware & Misc Comp sections.
-I try to be as detailed as possible and welcome the users to ask any questions they may have on my posts.
-I also am welcoming to debating choices in the section as it creates a learning opportunity for users.

I feel like a lot of the posts I put effort into are ignored due to the fact I'm not an upgraded member.
-EX from a PM of a user I was helping: "I'm only going with what [Redacted] is sayig is cause he's reputable"
-Another EX from Rep: "Rude. Atleast read a post before posting a half-ass response"
(I had read the thread and others from the user, I gave advice that was never followed up and given -3, which admittedly got me a little hot headed for receiving that after trying to help, still tried after but OP didn't follow up again).

I try to contribute frequently to the Movie & TV section.
-I have a list of and seen over 1000 Movies & 2000 TV Shows(episodes), which allows me to post diverse recommendations.
-I studied Film & TV Production & am interested in foreign movies so I can recommend plenty of things users have not seen that are excellent to watch.

I've matured A LOT since I've first joined.
-No longer a teenager who tries to act like something i'm not.
-I know the value of being a high quality trustworthy user, although I doubt I'll dabble back in the marketplace unless I start selling RS3 again.
-I'm realistic & truthful, even if it hurts to hear & appreciate the same in return.

Less up to date info:
Spoiler (Click to View)I used to be very active in the Halo 3 Section & often helped players.
-I would often boost people for free just to have someone to chat with, met most of my HF friends in that section that I've sadly lost contact with.
-Sadly since H3 is dead I am no longer active there but hope to be in another game forum soon such as Overwatch.

I have experience in graphic design and used to frequent that section for advice and to give it.
-I however have been falling out of touch with it as I move towards Video work.

Anywho I'm truly thankful for the consideration, especially since I may have over did it and added too much information lol. Speaking of which I actually just tried to shorten it a bit by leaving the older info in a spoiler.

It's a real nice thing you're doing here, not only for the users but for supporting the forums, so again thanks 👍

EDIT: Would also appreciate feedback on anything I should improve upon if you don't mind (not related to this thread but in general such as tone in posts or linking sources etc).

Looking back at this, it's sad how many recent applicants are now closed/banned.

This is why I rarely upgrade members anymore. Too many toxic parasites with a thirst for fuckery trying to persuade me into elevating their privileges.
