And yes, most likely.

It has been implemented yes, he didn't announce it officially yet though, he probably will do so somewhere today. That should clear it up.

Regular members have 7 days of edit (same as always).

L33t now have 30 days from original post date to edit.

Ub3r now have 90 days from original post date to edit.

3p1c gain no special options for edit.

I may continue to adjust these options if abuse continues.

Cough Cough. He already mentioned it on page 1.
Great feature you just added, Omni
🚀 Signature space for sale! PM me if you’re interested.
This sounds very good - good choice Omni!
This will hurt a lot of members, but I'm sure they'll get used to it easy.

Could there be perhaps a credit system, which allows you to edit a certain thread out the time barrier for a certain amount of credits? Credits could cost or be quite hard to get.

If cost, you can only purchase a certain amount for a certain amount of time.

Maxim and me were talking about the extended time for R3KT users which has been implemented as well.

R3KT users can now edit posts up until 1296000 minutes of posting.

I'm not R3KT & I can edit a post from 2016

I think you got confused buddy, That's not a R3KT Feature. I can edit my 2015 Posts.

It's just a zero too much, I'm sure it'll get fixed soon.

It would be nice if you could PM maybe a mentor to edit the thread for you or approve the thread before it is 'publicly' edited.

Omni already stated that he will not be allowing anyone to edit other members thread and that includes staff. So I think the other option of getting a approval from mentor seems fine as long as they are only able to approve and reject thread edit requests.

I was thinking about this yesterday but my cell's battery went down. I think this feature can work without any issues.

For example a member can click on "edit request" option on the edit button and submit their new content and provide a edit reason (Just like Wiki) and It can be either approved or Rejected by mentors. Once they approve your new content it should replace old content.
I don't get this though, it's all for SEO but huge thread images will only hurt the SEO even more.

He said that the marketplace isn’t causing the problem and I think those images will only be used in the marketplace

That would just encourage thread bumping.

Great to hear, and it makes a lot of sense that we'd get a significantly longer edit time.
