Yeah my bad on the wording.

I'd prefer to not use that theme on my desktop and I'd have to switch between two themes depending on the device I'm using.

That will not be possible. Once this theme is ready then it will be set as the default theme for all users and the other theme will be removed from use. Omni prefers HF to have a single theme and this will be it.

Is the online list meant to be colorless?

Cloudflare caches CSS files and Omniscient isn't online to update it with the updated files. So... any CSS changes we do are not visible until CF cache is purged.

Still have some stuff to do. Have to make sure all plugins are incorporated. Still deciding on a good look for awards on the postbit now that we have the darkened box.

EDIT: Looks like the CSS was pushed through. Should see some new changes.

Can I suggest possibly removing users join date from their profiles? Make it like so anyone who has been on the forum since say before a certain date it will show theirs for the point of being nostalgic and oldschool maybe 2012 before or something, but hiding it from anyone further on?

I just feel like it has more of a negative impact being directly on peoples posts and could serve a purpose of being more inviting to newer users.
Either that or just put in something like
'Sometime in 2017'
'During 2016'
'Oldskool 2k12'

I don't know, something along those lines maybe.

Maybe just remove the month from it unless you look at their profiles. Just have the year, I just thought a cool little 'reference' to something according to the date - maybe a notable thing each year would be kind of cool as well as give 'more' of an even playing field for newer users.

I will say other than that it looks pretty damn good right now, obviously you guys are working on things (time is difficult to read and I feel like the HF logo is a bit dark for the writing. 

I personally use a 'pipboy' looking theme userscript that makes it look really fucking nice though.

Perfect. I'm sure once it's 100% finished this is going to be insanely useful. Is our trust scan still going to log every IP if we get on mobile and use our LTE or 3G and are traveling? I remember I lost it and couldn't stop laughing when I saw some kid complaining about how his trust scan had like 24 IPs shown in red from getting on mobile and going out and using HF and how he was concerned it made him look fishy and was detering deals. So my thought is, is there any change to this is or is pretty much staying the same and logging every carrier IP? If it still logs carrier IPs then I imagine after this comes out then that part of the trust scan you can render obsolete if you don't already? Maybe I have a wrong understanding but yeah it will totally kill this right here or am I wrong:

Yikes... as it is now the purple is harsh to read with on forum titles. Also, this theme has character and is a big part of HF, at least color wise, may as well just update this one to be "mobile friendly".

Will there be an option to have a desktop view of the forums if we are on mobile? I almost ALWAYS prefer using desktop views on my phone.

That stat is only for login IPs. So when you literally login with your password. If you are just browsing and going from IP to IP then it doesn’t log all of that info in Trust Scan. Many people already use HF on mobile. This should hopefully improve navigation and possibly just as important it should improve SEO.

Ahh I was not aware. Thanks for the clearing that up for me. I can't wait until I can use HF anywhere without everything looking microscopic on these high resolution phones these days. I really am looking forward to this mobile theme and I'm sure the finished results will be sleek. Good luck in all of your guy's work. 🤝

Use Chrome > Menu > Check "Desktop Site".

Also, this may sort of be off-topic, but I've tried using mobile a few times, and I've successfully logged in and browsed around, but if I go browse Instagram and Twitter for an hour or two, I come back and I'm logged out..every time. Is this normal, or is something going on? It's pretty convenient being logged in on Safari, but it's not convenient having to log in every time I visit the site.
