What exactly does this product do for Runescape?

It gains access to accounts by brute forcing.. so to keep it simple it tries different combinations of usernames and passwords if there is a successful combination it logs the account.

Yes you can. Just make sure you're using a password list. As the program will proceed to use all passwords within the list.txt file.

Hi, from my tests there are always some locks but the % of this happening is minimised if you use good proxies (i.e not free public ones).
