Introduction
Bleach is the Story of a Young Man named Ichigo Kurosaki, a High School Student whose life is drastically altered after meeting a "Soul Reaper" named Rukia Kuchiki. During battle with what is known as a "Hollow" Rukia is inured and unable to do battle, thus, she bestows her powers onto Ichigo to Protect his Family, unaware that he is about to change his Destiny. Bleach is one of the pillars of the anime community, and it also has a Cult Following even though the anime hasn't been finished.

My Review

Ichigo Kurosaki is a 15 Year old Boy, standing 5'9 who is mostly pretty chill in personality but easily angered. Ichigo passionately dislikes bullies, and he's very passionate about his role as an Older Brother as he expresses to Byakuya during his bout over Rukia later in the series. Ichigo is accompanied by his friends Chad, Uryu, and Orihime throughout the series with Rukia, Renji, and Kisuke tagging along every now and again. Uryu is a Quincy by birth, a natural enemy to that of a Soul Reaper, and Chad and Orihime conjure up their own abilities to be able to help their friend Ichigo as much as possible.[/color]

Ichigo is destined to go up against and Stop Sosuke Aizen, leader of the Arrancar's, and ex Soul Reaper Captain. Aizen is seemingly the most Intelligent Character in the Bleach Verse, not only that, he has the Power to back it up. Thanks to his Zanpakto's Special Ability he's able to deceive everyone in the Series except Ichigo as he's the only one who hasn't been put under its special ability. Aizen stands at 6'1 and has the Menacing stare of someone who looks down upon you. He's easily one of the more intimidating characters in the series just off of his very chill attitude in very serious situations.[/color]

Bleach is without a doubt one of the more balanced Shonen anime, it's able to scale Dialogue with Action almost perfectly. The dialogue reals you in very effectively, and then it brings in very bloody and exciting Fighting Scenes. When I'm looking for some interesting battles, especially Swordsmen going at it, Bleach is without a doubt a favorite for me. Not only that, the Story is able to get you immersed after just a few episodes. The story only gets better and better over time, and things come to tie in and make much more sense the deeper you get. Bleach is surely one of the best written stories I've watched in a while. Bleach also has one of the best Power Systems in all of anime, and is original to itself with "Spiritual Pressure".


Ichigo - Ichigo definitely sets the Bar for a good friend. He starts off hot headed toward Bullies, and Idiots. However he has a soft side for his Friends, Family, and helping wandering souls. Ichigo faces all obstacles that he encounters head on, and never runs from a problem. Ichigo is more or less the typical Shonen MC, He's Hot Headed but hates bullies, and does everything to protect Innocent Lives. He isn't the brightest, but his Combat Prowess is almost unparalleled in his verse. With his Orange hair, he definitely brings a diverse look to MC's.


Rukia - Rukia is a "Soul Reaper" from the Soul Society. She's a Lieutenant of the 13th Division. The adopted sister of a Captain from a noble family, Rukia has high expectations placed on her. She's a sweet young beauty who does her job to the best of her abilities. She's also got a KickAss Zanpakuto! Rukia plays her Role as some what of an assisting character for Ichigo, but also as a friend. She starts the story looked down upon for her Crimes, but in the end is Respected for her views and ideals as Ichigo completely changes her life as a Soul Reaper for the better.


Sosuke Aizen -  Sosuke Aizen is a Former Soul Reaper Captain turned traitor, he's the leader of the Arrancars, and the Main Antagonist of the story. With his High IQ, only 2nd to Kisuke Urahara, Sosuke Aizen is an enemy the Soul Society was entirely unprepared for. He completely outsmarted, and overpowered the 13 Court Guard Squads leaving his only possible enemies as Kisuke Urahara, and Ichigo Kurosaki. Aizen is the definition of a Villain done Correctly. Not only is he smart, he's also pretty badass and highly egoistic making him a very interesting character.


Kisuke Urahara - Kisuke Urahara does a great job of playing the "Sensei" role similar to Kakashi, a Sensei who doesn't teach you much but is a badass themselves. Urahara is not only seemingly the most Intelligent Bleach Character, but he's also a really relaxed guy and he's quite easy to understand. He leaves a lot to be desired as he withholds tons of Information, but he's always there to help Ichigo out on the path of Righteousness.

Genryusai Yamamoto - Head Captain Yamamoto is quite possibly the most badass fire user in anime, his strength in combat known to be unrivaled by any other Soul Reaper to date, there'd be no better man to lead the 13 Court Guard Squads. Yamamoto is a very mysterious character with not much known about him, but he makes up for that for his Impressive battle scenes.

Spin Off Series

Burn The Witch is a New Title by Tite Kubo, released July 16th, 2018. It focues on the lives of Two Witches who work for the Western Branch of the Soul Society, located in Reverse London. The Story takes place in the same world of Bleach, and has a story of its own beside the general story of Bleach itself. It's recommended that you complete Bleach before reading Burn the Witch.

The story is definitely different. But, if you keep an open mind and give it a chance you'll start to get into the story and understand it more overtime.
