I haven't exactly been on HF the past 5 or 6 months due to the busyness and other craziness that life has to offer but what are some of the most interesting things that has happened here since then? :D 🤝
I never really posted much but I did really enjoy reading things on HF. I miss this place <3
Edit: I think I did visit here once or twice at the end of the year but I didn't get the chance to look at anything.
My hat used to be somewhere along the border of being grey but over the past few years, I realized my calling is to learn and help others out in ways that I can ethically. Learn as much as you can, experience, grow, educate, and throw yourself in uncomfortable situations.
Rep got reset and its now popularity and doesnt mean shit. Here is +5 for welcome back.
Contracts were introduced with B ratings that actually mean something and you get one after each deal completed. They are a must use in the marketplace.
Bytes were introduced which you earn by posting and you can gamble them at:
https://hackforums.net/blackjack.php
or
https://hackforums.net/slots.php
Or you can buy awards with them.
Welcome back.
More changes are covered in a thread by Vitani in RANF.

Ah, I do remember hearing references about upcoming changes around the time I had to take a break. Really cool to see all these new features being implemented on the site. Thanks for the welcome back!

Welcome back. And this place is like a different world compared to my time here in 2012 :roflamo:

Had an account from 2012 that got banned because it looked like it got sold to a scammer. 1 month online time. almost 3k post. HF was literally home to me. So much more activity back then though.

I feel sorry for you. Why did it?

I went ghost around 2013. Somewhere around 2015 someone hacked my account and scammed 5 people.
(You can see the reports and all the nonsense HERE.
The guy doesn't even speak like I do. But oh well. The community is much more inviting and less toxic than then. I just wish it could be that way with all the activity it used to have.
Bytes, would be the most interesting thing. Many features have spouted from the idea.
