100% agree, I'm not sure if the programming sections even get enough traffic for a organized quality push to revitalize them.

The last time I saw that happen (in the Java section) was Cosa Notra creating programming competition threads. And before that the group The Empire had a lot of threads but that was a LONG time ago. Its kinda a shame since the Java language is really kicking into gear now that they're on the new release cycle. There's a lot of potential threads to be made. I imagine the same could be said for other sections, but I don't pay attention to other languages much.
