Pretty much always use the self checkout at Walmart and grocery stores, it’s just a lot faster and can’t bother waiting for some old folk in front of me to do their thing...

I wouldn’t mind using it if they gave me 5 percent off all items.

I don't use it. Here there aren't many self checkout stations and also they always fail and I need to call the manager.
Eliminating the cashiers will do a lot of harm to them. They won't find another job that easily.

I use it because the lines are always shorter and I feel I can get out of the store faster using them.
If I have a lot of items I will use two carts I love the self check out.

I always use the self check-out when there is the option.
I know in the future cashiers will be replaced completly by these machines. Why is that a bad thing? Its called progress.
Its like refusing to use new elevators because you want a human to be inside.

They want you to use self checkout so in the future that’s the only option. They can show statistics to their shareholders “people are loving self checkout their using it more so we can save 2 dollars”

It has its pros and cons. I like it cause it's faster but yeah if they would higher more cashier's than I'd use them. That would take money away from the company tho... It's also easier to steal through self check out so companies probably lose more with them than actual cashier's, would be interesting to see some stats on that.

I prefer to use self-checkouts for the simple fact that I have social anxiety and not having to associate myself with another human being in a social situation is just easier for me.

I got so sick of cashiers putting like two things in a bag, criticizing my food purchases, and just saying dumb shit while being super slow.

Self-checkout, I am in and out, no stupid comments, fewest bags possible. Easy, and done.
