Simple Python Script - Question - Combine matching hashes into one line

Hey I have a question

I have two separate documents.

1 document containing hashed lines and and second document containing the plaintext .

is there an easy way to replace the hashed/encrypted ones in the first document with the plaintext lines in the second document?

Does anyone have a simple python script that can do this or knows how to code one?

Thanks!
I could probably help you with this, send me a PM when you are free

Yea, I'm curious why you need python to create a file it sounds like you already have.
I need a bit more information to help you with the best possible solution to what you want.

Do you want what is in the file 1 to be deleted, and rewritten with what is in file 2?

Why not just rename, or copy and rename file 2 to be the same as file 1? If so, what you are asking is just basic reading and file writing if you want a script to do this. I'm assuming you have a lot of files you want to do this to?
