Dream job vs Well paid job

"Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life."

I think there's truth in that quote. Chase your dream, not only because you'll enjoy it more, but because you'll be better at it. You'll be amazed at how much of a difference that alone makes in your earning capability.

I choose dream job with $1000. Every day a part of your life burns away. You will never get the time back that you have lost. I have not lived my life that I wanted. When I think about my past I get angry and sad.

I am sure about that, but a lot of people would choose a higher-paid job to avoid a period full of difficulties!

More than half of the world lives with less than 1k$ a month! However, the low salary is what makes the decision more difficult! Are you ready to struggle and have some difficulties in the name of your dream job, hoping to reach a point in your life where you make more money and do what you love!

For me tho, I wouldn't pick the dream job because of all the mental stress that all the other crap would cause wouldn't be worth it, the job only lasts 1/3 of the day and also only 5/7days every week so the majority of the time would be spent suffering.
I do however think that there has to be a balance, everyone can find a job that they like (not love) and get a decent salary out of it.

That's a good and well-structured answer! I think I shouldn't put numbers since 1k is way different in the USA than in Indonesia for example!

I am so sorry to hear that, but you know - Every mistake is a lesson! Hope you've learned yours and now you trying to do what you want to!

Your dream job with something like 1000$ salary, or some shitty job, but 10k$ salary?

I am of the opinion that work should give you pleasure and in life you should only do what you really love. However, it is known that life is not a fairy tale and unfortunately quite often it forces us to do hated things and sit at boring work.

Definitely, but in my scenario, unlike in real life, you have the opportunity to choose! And I am glad to hear, that there is one more that prefers joy and happiness

Hopefully you can work the boring job just for a short period of time. After all, working is just exchanging a finite resource you have (your time) for money. Better spend your finite resources for something you like to do!
Dream job is no job.. so I’d rather in your situation choose the Well paid job. Rather struggle than have a nice job that pays less, use that hard earned fiat to accumulate crypto/investments to get me an early retirement in the long term. I know it’s not guaranteed but the best plan I can come up with in this modern slavery society.
Usually when you work in a field you are passionate about and are good at what you do, money is usually just a biproduct that naturally comes along with it.

I also hope so, but the job I have now may not fulfill all my ambitions and it is also not something that I would like to do all my life, but thanks to it I have a chance for development.
The company I work for puts a strong emphasis on employee development, language learning, training and certification not only in areas directly related to work.
So I have nothing to complain about for now😅

There is nothing more precious in life than a sense of fulfillment😇

I did and will always go for my dream.
I always wanted to run my own business.
When I quit my job to finally due it, I was offered a pay raise by one of the companies client on +50%.
As I am not paid poorly it was hard to pass on a 50% pay increase.
But I stood by and now run my own freelance consulting agency.
And I love every fucking day of it.

Depends really. If the dream job was able to sustain my life then ya I would take it. I would take the high paying job. Save a ton of money and then once stable try to find what I love.
I'd rather have a shitty job that pays way more, use it to fund my hobbies :)

Let's say the dream job is just enough to make a living! You won't starve or be homeless nor have to worry about your bills! 🙄🙄🙄
