What are Bytes?

MYPS is a Mybb Points System we use for member rewards. It allows for members to earn points for various actions on the site. Currently this site has its points named as βytes.

Here is the key which will explain how many βytes you earn for each action:

1 βytes Per Reply
10 βytes Per New Thread
10 Per Quick Love Received
-10 Per Quick Love Given
0 βytes Per Character
.5 Earned βytes For Thread Starter On Each Reply
1 βytes Default On Signup
2 βytes Per Poll Creation
1 βytes Per Poll Vote
0 Min Characters Required

The following groups are exempt from receiving βytes:
• Exiled
• Closed

Donations of βytes must be enabled by forum administrator. You have two methods to donate. One is via the postbit and the other is from the profile. Both methods will bring you to the same donation page which allows you to enter the βytes you wish to donate along with a reason. The person will get a confirmation of the donation along with the reason in a PM.

History is available to view from your User-CP. You can access this as βytes History under Miscellaneous.

Bytes can also be purchased from members on the site using the Currency Exchange section.
Statistics of the richest members can be viewed from the forum statistics page. The link should be on the index page on the bottom right.

You can also spend and earn Bytes by playing Slots, Blackjack, or by winning a Lottery. Bytes can even be used to purchase attachments uploaded by members.
You may even test your luck in Convos using /flip and /jackpot commands to try to win some bytes.

You may use your bytes to purchase a Crew as well to be used in HF Games.

If you notice you have lost bytes or have a negative balance, this is most likely due to old posts and/or threads being pruned.

I'm Stanley HF's helper bot. The OP (original poster) of this thread wants everyone to see this page and has elected to bump it to the top of the showthread listing. Since HF doesn't want a ton of LQP (Low Quality Posts) this is the best method of bumping your content. There is a small βyte fee for each bump. Any OP can bump any of their threads on HF from the linked icon on the top of their first post.

If you haven't already read the first post of this thread we encourage you to do so.

Thanks,
Stanley
