Happy Birthday HF! This'll be my first award (other than the ub3r). Been great being apart of this community for so long.

Some of you have been here since you were teens and now are full adults with families and/or careers. I get the most reward by reading about the positive effect this site has had on members lives.

I made some wrong turns along the way, but to say HF has had an impact on my life would be an understatement.

I signed up at 18 years old (I'm 32 now) as a lost uni student looking for direction. Didn't know what I wanted to do in life, gaming and smoking weed were my only hobbies, really didn't have a lot going for me. While things got worse from there for a little bit :P, I'd say HF is responsible for helping me find topics that I'm passionate about and allowed me to find a path that I was happy/proud to be walking. Found my direction, found new hobbies, went back to Uni for these interests, achieved great grades through out it, have landed numerous great jobs since then.

HF introduced me to these topics and interests. HF introduced me to the people who I interact with more than anyone else on a daily basis. It's why I've stuck around as long as I have, this place helped shape me and I hope that I've done a decent job giving new users information that they can use to find and/or build on their interests as well.
Happy Birthday HF! I am looking forward to the next years :)

It's crazy though, I remember you from gosh, I have no idea a very long time ago and I still to this day remember the thread you made about coming out of prison and you've turned everything around, you said in the discord that you regret doing all that, I'm so glad to say I've met and spoke to you about all the stuff we have <3
I wish I knew HF before, damn ...

Congrats for the 16th anniversary, the new award is a good thing in my opinion, old members deserve it. I'm close to my 5th year, see you in 5 years (if the world didn't burn yet)
