Really shows that there is a correlation between fee revenue and marketcap
This is the important info off that page...
1. Tech: Blockchain design and programming language
- Blockchain design: Sui’s technical architecture is purpose-built for global scalability, positioning it especially well for high frequency, low latency use cases like payments and gaming.
- Predictable, low transaction fees: Low cost and smooth, predictable fees help reduce friction and optimize user experience.
- Object-based approach and parallel processing: Unlike Ethereum, Solana, and other account-based blockchains that update a global smart contract ledger, Sui uses an object-based model. In this model, each asset is a distinct object linked to a wallet, allowing transactions to be processed in parallel. By updating only the relevant objects instead of a shared global state, this model reduces computation, improves efficiency, and allows for greater network scalability.
- “Fast path” execution: Sui distinguishes between simple asset transfers and complex smart contract calls.[3] Peer-to-peer simple asset transfers are routed through a “fast path” allowing near-instant finality.[4] This positions Sui well for payments use cases.
- Horizontal scaling: Unlike most blockchains, Sui’s network capacity grows with computation power. Sui validators can add servers to increase performance under demand constraints. As a result, according to the team, an 8x increase in hardware translates to an 8x increase in throughput with no increase in latency.[5]
Basically a better technology Smart Chain is actually going up in value.
SUI is holding with a very good strength grip while BTC corrected from $123.5k to $117k.

37% gain the last month, it isn’t bad at all. I just hope Sui doesn’t go down crazy again like the last time it did
SUI’s next ‘altcoin season’ stop could be $5: Here’s why

I normally don't care about price action in the short term, but just as I am about to start my small DCA OUT strategy, SUI is stuck $3.90-4.05.
Sui is back above the weekly moving average. Interesting to see what the next 50 or so days leading to the first rate cut will bring.
SUI-3183372 I heard some rumors that there will be a $SUI treasury company that will do buys, maybe related to the foundation?

I haven't heard of that myself.
Guess everyone but me knew to buy this rumor and sell on the news breaking.

I just don't know how much of that $450mil will be bought off the hands of the foundation, in terms of locked tokens or team tokens.
As of today the price is $3.95 (avg) that's $450mil/3.95= 113 mil $SUI tokens. Next unlock is set for 2nd of Aug with 44 mil $SUI tokens so I suppose some of that will be bought OTC. Even if half of that is used in direct market buys, it can impact the price around 3-5% maximum.

Recently speaking with a friend to start our own project within this space we focused our analysis on SOL and SUI for our development. What you brought up here is with more depth to it convinced my partner to drop SOL and go all out on SUI for the foreseeable future and hopefully forever.
Adding that Sui is now on Robinhood platform too. Neato.

Mysten Labs and Sui contributing to Google's new Agentic Payment Protocol, [one of?] the only Layer 1's selected to do so.

Market seems stalled, loving using Sui on the regular right now. So fast and cheap. Swaps are super awesome. Loved to see more Sui integration but also some pricing action.
