Game Drop-Down Slow CryptoGame Icon

Probably me, but, I notice when I expand the game icon to play whatever games are on offer the CryptoGame icon is slower to load than the otehrs.
It sometimes takes up to about 200m.

This was the same as the last server, maybe lazy loading, or slower CDN if it's FA?

It's looking completely normal on my end. I click the icon for the drop down menu and all of the icons show up immediately. I opened that menu up tons of times prior to the server move including recently before it occurred too and I never noticed such a thing then either.

It doesn't happen all of the time which makes it even easy to demonstrate, and I don't fnacy recording my screen at all times.

It just kinda takes a marginal amount of time other than the rest, so not sure if it's because it's CDN or something my network does, but I'm pretty normal in that regard.

Interesting, yeah I don't know. I've clicked on that drop down icon well over 1,000 times throughout the years though and have never noticed such a thing. Seems all the same now like I mentioned as well.

I upgraded Font-Awesome package on the site. What you experienced was likely just your browser obtaining a new cache of the icons and takes a moment. You'll be fine.

It happened on the old server, I'll watch it over the next few days

Also I'll be fine? Yay!

Well you do have a long way to load the page. Could just be simple lag to your destination.

Are they not all delivered from the same cdn? I've not bothered to look into network tab etc to diagnose myself

It's all Cloudflare served.

CF->HF Server.

I used to use a CDN but no longer.

I see notifications are back, interesting.
It's the only one I see doing it, I'll run some metrics and see if there's something abnormal, but typically don't notice much else with random delays.

Just open Inspect Element and watch the loading of the icons. FA6 is definitely larger than the previous version but modern speeds should still make it fairly quick. Please note that HF's new server is in EU vs previously it was in North America. So you are taking a different route.
It’s working fine for me, at least. Or maybe Omni has fixed the issue?
Limited offer

That's fine, I just notice that is the only icon that does it, so I'll see what I can get when I get it.

Nothing huge, as usual I am just being dramatic for the sake of clout, I'll live, just wasn't sure if it was specifically a me thing. Then again, lots is.

Bingo!

First time I opened it totday, and got the crazy long delay.
You can see nearly 2 seconds, but usually HF loads super quick it's not even funny.

Maybe it's the ordering of how assets are fetched? Could do Lazy Load so it's ready for you on page load, not draw expansion?

🔐 loading encrypted image…

But then in saying all that, everything else in HF loads in expected times for me, all assets are fetched mostly quick, my internet is rural, but 2 seconds is very abnormal when the other icons are already loaded as per page load I'd assume?

Can you load that?
Looking deeper into this, it seems that Cloudflare has challenged the load of that file. I don't see a match on your IP though but maybe you were mobile and/or rotating IPs via VPN.

I'm considering options now.
