This probably IS real, because he's clearly blacked out the subdomain.
Why? Because it's probably got the name of his shell in, or something, and if you knew that then he'd be exposing the vulnerability to you. He's also just dumped a few MD5 hashes from another .gov website in this section, so I don't see why this is so hard to believe. Honestly.
