Hi, sometimes i get this error when i try to go to any Hack Forums page including the home page.

Why is this, i don't really understand the error. I usually only get this when i go on during the morning (GMT).

It's an error that everybody gets, don't stress about it, it's probably just some maintenance on the site.

if you actually read what the error say. you will understand why..
it says: Max User Connections Active.
maybe because too many users online?

Yeah i too get this it lasts for nearly a minute then it goes i think
can anyone enlighten us on this matter ?

It's probably a MySQL database error, or a DDoS attack.
HackForum's MySQL database is HUGE, and sometimes the tables crash, due to high traffic. It gets sorted out immediately.

Stop saying it's DDOS attacks when it's not.

It's actually regular traffic and the excessive size of our database straining the server. We'll be getting a second DB server soon to be a slave.
