Can anyone tell me exactly which ports to forward when useing the metus booter. I can read that it says 3176. PFPortchecker is saying its not open. I have no firewall what so ever. Also to test that i could open a port i switched 3074 from my xbox ip to my pc ip. Now when i did this first it was still not open. Then i switched ports 87-89 to my pc ip and port 3074 was now open. Sorry if im rambling on. My question is are there any other ports other than 3176 that i need to forward for the metus booter. Thank you

Well login to your router page (192.168.1.1 - google what the pass/username is for your specific router). Get to port range forwarding, and forward ports 3074 to 3176, both UDP and TCP. Save changes and it should work fine.

Hi Awesome Tutorial. I have some problems.
I am using the Metus HackForums Edition.

1. What ports do I forward and which device do I forward them too?

2. I infected two of the computers in our house my pc with the serer on it and then another pc. It is also on a friends pc.

3. I have tried setting my pc in dmz mode and the only bots that showed up were the other pc and the server pc.

4. Also which of the programs are the best as in require the least amount of bots to boot someone?

I have AT&T Uverse for my internet cable and phone so we have their 2wire modem/router.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated. Please?

1. Forward ports 3070 and 3176 (that's what I did) on your router. Go to run and type in cmd then type in ipconfig, then type in the default gateway in your browser. Go to port forward, applications and gaming whatever its called on your router, then forward 3070 to 3176 TCP and UDP

2.when you made the no-ip.info host on the website keep the external ip that's already there (if you didn't do that already)


3.You may have to also forward ports on your modem


4.I use metus and biozombie their both good I suggest using both

Thank you for the help. I can't PM you because my post count isn't high enough. I did what you said but when I took my pc out of DMZ mode my own pc wouldn't even show up. I reset my router completely and forwarded ports 3070-3176 UDP and TCP The closest things to the game type you selected were Microsoft games. for my no ip address it has it going to my external Ip Address should I change that to my local ip Address my local one is 192.168.1.82 for my pc and my external is 75.48.194.8. Would I have to forwards ports with the windows firewall as well?
