I know there's a similar section here:

Smartphone, Mobiles, Apps, and SDK

But it seems like that's mostly for mobile app development.

I know we have a section for mobile games. But I think it'd be cool to have a section that just focuses on apps. Somewhere that people can recommend and discuss new apps that are released to the App Store or Google Play store.

Tbh, you should post discussion about applications threads here Smartphone, Mobiles, Apps, and SDK

Or if specific to OS.

iOS
iOS and iDevices

Android :
Android Operating System

Its not for just coding, maybe the description should be edited of
"Smartphone, Mobiles, Apps, and SDK" it makes it sound like it just for development.
