I wasn't happy with how the emails looked. I have spent half the day reviewing and altering them to be more appealing.
I did that and then sent out an email blast for our 19th Anniversary Upgrade Special. It will take a week to send to 110k members. So I may end up extending the sale til May 7th to ensure everyone has a chance.
Because I'm trying to get a handle on traffic I've enabled Google Analytics on the site again. Cloudflare provides reasonable data but I want more in-depth and at the site level.
I also want to see what new features are part of Analytics. Looks like some real-time data is now added.

We have just seen a bytes boost for a few days as a way to celebrate the birthday of HF this year. With HF turning 19 years old on the 21st of April, we have had a few days of extra bytes per post and thread for a few days. If you were lucky enough to get a chance to get a few extra bytes from the few days of celebration, then we hope you use those bytes wisely. We here at the HF News Team would like to also wish the site a wonderful happy birthday. We have also seen there are more things to come, so keep an eye out on the site to find out what is coming next.

Confidence isn’t something you’re simply born with—it’s built over time through action. Many people wait until they feel ready, but confidence actually comes after you start. Taking small steps, even when you’re unsure, helps you prove to yourself that you’re capable. Each experience, whether it succeeds or fails, teaches you something valuable. Over time, these repeated actions reduce fear and replace doubt with self-belief. The more you do, the more confident you become.

A new contest by @Horus God@ has come around and is currently running until the 30th of April 2026. The contest is based around vibe coding using an AI model linked within the contest thread. The winner will be based on what is produced via the functionality, code quality, creativity, and overall polish of what is produced with the submission. This means you have full freedom to create anything you like. But it cant be too basic. If you are just getting into learning about vibe coding, this might be a great start and a great way to have a chance of winning $180.
