About to start a web hosting site

So guys I have a few questions before I start this website...
1. What should the price be /mo?
2. How much disk space per server?
3. If I post in the hosting section advertising section will people bash me because im new to hf or will I succeed?

Thanks for any help!!

If you don't know what you're doing (sounds like you don't) then you shouldn't be trying to run a web-hosting company. You sound incapable of the basics, never mind full on support and maintenance of the damn thing.

We don't need more shitty hosts, tyvm.
Well that was a but of a bluntly rude answer. But SlightlyNuclear (oh, I get it now) is onto something. Do some solid research before getting yourself into this, and better yet, get some experience by working for a site like this, if you want to start your own.

Furthermore, there are already a TON of hosts, probably one out of every ten people on HF own one, so what would make yours special? You have to think about certain logistics before you decide to launch or your endeavour will flop.

Get some experience or an experienced partner and figure out why you will be different.

What he needs is a niché and I believe that's what you were trying to explain. Apologies to OP for being so blunt, but that's how it is in this sector. So many kids start web hosting "companies" on a shitty VPS and expect major profits - when they come into issues they can't resolve, they fall through.

I've seen it happen so many times before, so be warned OP.
If you are doing this buy your own servers, don't user resellers.
Don't sell on HF unless you know how to make your server(s) 100% secure from outer and internal attacks. If you are still interested in selling hosting here (there are already tons of reputable and well know sellers) simply check out the hosting section in the marketplace area and look at the competitors' prices. Maybe start with offering limited amount of free hostings, then when you have enough people who are satisfied with you start selling hosting.
You see, Doctor, God didn't kill that little girl. Fate didn't butcher her and destiny didn't feed her to those dogs.
If God saw what any of us did that night he didn't seem to mind. From then on I knew... God doesn't make the world this way.
We do.
