Looking for a SOCKS5 Proxy to use thats well-documented

So I feel like ive searched far and wide but I need to find a .dll that allows me to use SOCKS5 proxy. Keep in mind that, by default, VB.NET uses the systems proxy settings which is not what I want!

I need to make my program have its own proxy settings and this seems harder than I thought. The closest I could come was Starksoft (https://biko.codeplex.com/) but the developer abandoned the project completely and there is no documentation.

Anyone can give a helping hand?
Why do you not want to use the default proxy settings?
i released a socks5 class some time back. You can have a fiddle with that if you want.

I have use starksoft before, i can give you can example if you need.
If you download their package, there are a few examples that show you exactly how to use it.

Id love to see them.

Btw, the examples I see from them are all FTP based and when I try to compile, i get this error:

Thanks!
have you looked at the source code to biko? it looks pretty straightforward
What do you need? SOCKS5 Client or Server?

The protocol is fairly documented, there is no need to copy+paste when it takes ~20 minutes to implement both.
