This is an interesting application. I will take the time to answer this question to the best of my ability as it perked my interests.

Plastic waste has increased at least tenfold over the last 50 years. This is simply due to the fact that humans have become more and more reliant on plastic packaging. When humans use disposable modes of containers, they are more likely to not properly discard of them because it's easy to just litter and discard them. The problem with this is the pollution in the oceans, which not only affects the ocean ecosystem by suffocating and killing many species (since they consume the litter and end up dying), but the pollution in turn affects the global ecosystem because everything is inter related.

So how do we stop this ridiculous problem?

It would sound cliche to say reduce, reuse, and recycle, right? Well, no. It's just that the avenues to do these 3 things have higher opportunity costs for each individual - it is up to everyone to play their role to help contribute to saving the oceans. Reducing is the most important step - reduction of plastics. Finding and alternative, such as using glass and temper-ware, prevents the disposable aspect and saves a lot of resources and betters the environment. You have to realize that so much of industry is based around plastic and disposable packaging - why? because it's cheap. Really the issue stems from human laziness and unwillingness to take care of the planet they live in. Humans can barely take care of themselves properly - how can you expect them to care for the environment?

This will be my discussion on how to stop pollution there are several ways to stop pollutions in the ocean, and save the creatures that are in pain.

1. Prevent people from eating near the ocean and enforce new laws.
All people are required to clean up after their messes and eat in places like this and away from the oceans this also includes drinking near the ocean.


2. Another way to prevent pollution near the ocean is of course no dumping any type of oils near the oceans and make a organization to clean up trash near the ocean and help creatures that are exposed to something such as shown in that sad video.

3. Have police officers patrol the beach areas to prevent littering people are always afraid of police officers and will obey the law when it's being enforced. Also to help save our earth always recycle 😉 it will help out a lot in our environment and can also saves life's of Animals and sea life.

Also that video made me cry holy fuck that's so sad.
