This part was also in reference to the users who have 25+ awards that cost a lot and could afford another 20 more - I know we have them on the forum. I am fairly sure that there is nothing wrong with someone assuming that it's typically the people who have more money that can afford to spend $1000 on the award.
I have recognized many times that he does amazing work for the community, I love what he's been doing.
Next time I would recommend reading the message twice, taking a look at what is quoted, not being too tired to not understand the slightly humorous parts, and then reply.
