Did corona affect your life in a negative way?

because of their jealousy?

I started my own company back in 2019.
Best thing I ever did for myself. This is where the real money to be made are.

I don't work in social media though. While it's a major part in digital marketing, it's a very specific niche that's separate from traditional marketing which is the field I work in.
Not read people's replies yet but yes it effected me in a negative way.

My partner had it, watched the person I've spent the last 10 years with who can't physically sit still for longer than 10 minutes absolutely wiped put for two weeks she has slowly got better and now is fine.

My daughter who is two years old was also extremely unwell a few days after my partners positive test. She's had a rough start in life in and out of hospital (very premature) so we decided against testing her and all just isolated for the required length at the time.

Was off work for 5 months, albeit 80% paid but I'd rather have worked and missed it quite a lot.

My parents both have had covid, but they recovered a lot quicker and didn't have it half as bad as my partner.

I liked that Covid meant that I was allowed to just do stupid bureaucratic stuff online or on the phone that I never should have had to run around town meeting people to do in the first place.

The only way it really affected me negatively is that my first cousin died of Covid in New York which is horrible. Especially because she wasn't even elderly and had a little girl. Now her father has to raise her on his own.

I did not care about not getting to do things I only cared about getting groceries for my family without going out which was really hard because of not having that many places in my city that did delivery and they would get booked out. Basically you had to stay up until 1 in the morning to grab slots and sometimes you'd still miss out.

Hey I appreciate that bro. It was a scary time for me but it worked out.

BUT, these assholes were not following any covid protocols, they were allowing covid positive employees to come to work so I quit and was able to collect. Found a much better deal job with much better pay and here I am now.

If it wasn’t for covid I wouldn’t of had the balls to quit that shit hole.

Congrats mate. Covid was opportunity in disguise for you.

Not really.
Was out of work for about 3-4 months but it was a pretty good break.
Though it's cold and lonely in the deep dark night.

during quarantine and sitting at home all day, my depression worsened. from 1.5 years I only leave the house when I have to do something.
because of covid I realized how big surveillance is in the world, I think every day how much social media and the government are spying on us
The only thing about this Corona virus stuff that negatively affected my life is that they closed down mostly everything all the bars etc.. But surely enough stuff will be opening up eventually and all this will pass or we'll all be doomed and yeah.
