What's the longest consecutive shift you've worked?

Total 16 hours non stop in a data center.

The longest shift I've ever worked has been twenty five hours straight non-stop with no lunch. I just snacked throughout the shift. I almost ran off the road in the work truck heading back to the house a few times. What's the longest you have worked in one shift?

Worked 20 hrs once, was finishing data on pc and after i finished i sent files and slept like elephant

12 hours is a long day for A LOT of people.

I have done 12 hours before, and they are not fun.
I wish laws like that actually made a difference in my day to day life. If I complain people will just call me a pussy.

I think there is. More so for my job, because I have a department of transportation regulated vehicle. I'm not a truck driver, but my vehicle is registered with the DOT. The problem is.. I'm not a big enough fish to make a difference in the day to day operation.

I worked at UPS a while ago as a supervisor. During peak season which is pretty much November through January, we worked crazy hours. I’d go in at 11pm, head home at 4pm the next day and then back in again at 11pm that night.
Staff will never reach out to you off-site. We only communicate on HF.
Longest for me is probably an 8am to 3am, so not too bad. Just a long day but was doable.

When it came to school work I would stay up 48h sometimes to get deadlines done.

Some managers do not understand this, but their time will come.
They preach work life balance, but don't practice it.

What is worse about the entire situation being a supervisor is that you are salary 😔

Very long shift indeed.

That's not healthy at all.
