Suggestion: Export All Contracts

With the increasing volume of deals happening through the official contract system, managing a high number of transactions for those of us who have reached milestones like 500+ completed contracts has become quite time consuming.

Currently, the only way to archive or review past deals is to manually click into each individual hyperlink to view the specific terms and deal details. While the current system is secure and transparent, it doesn't scale well for high volume traders or users who need to perform personal audits, tax reporting, or general record keeping.

The Suggestion:
I’d like to propose an "Export All" or "Bulk Export" feature within the contracts management page.

Potential Functionality:
  • File Format: A downloadable .CSV or .JSON file.
  • Data Fields: The export should ideally include the contract ID, partner username, date, amount/asset, status, and a text string of the agreed-upon terms.
  • Filtering: Perhaps an option to "Export Filtered" based on specific date ranges or status (e.g., Completed vs. Cancelled).

Why this would be beneficial:
  • Efficiency: Saves users hours of manual data entry, e.g. copy pasting.
  • Organization: Allows users to maintain offline backups of their marketplace reputation and history.
  • Scalability: Supports the growth of the HF marketplace by providing professional grade tools for its most active members using the marketplace daily.

You know, I actually agree with this to some sort of degree. I do feel, people that have multiple business niches being sold on here at a single time, especially if they've popped off and massively sold, Could definitely feel clogged as it feels clogged even for me and I don't have have that much. I could only imagine for those who deal contracts on the daily or even multiple times daily.

Perhaps like OP said, some sort of Information Extracting/Exporting would be lovely. I think that would even encourage everyone else to strictly use the Contracts even after the 1st deal is made from one person to another.
I really like this idea. I think it makes sense for members who do a lot of legitimate business and it would be an excellent perk for V3ndors.
Don't fall for a scam, use a middleman!

This is definitely a good idea in the broad scheme of things, but for HF specifically, I just don't see it being necessary for most members. Let's be honest, the majority of members aren't self-auditing their contracts to report on their tax return or to submit to their tax report.

If this was still the ~2015 era where eBook and method sellers made up some of the largest sellers in the marketplace, then I'd be 100% behind this, as there's likely some of them who were reporting on that income. Today, the current top 5 marketplace sellers are either Bytes related, exchange related, SSM services, account sellers, with only one eBook seller (Vyrez aka Varanae).

With that, since none of them have ever brought up a suggestion like this in the past, especially DemonAsylum who has far more contracts than any other HF member, I don't see a current need for this. I would gladly take an export feature, like I said this is a good idea and would be very useful to have and would definitely be nice, but if you really want to jcole you can use the HF API and create a self-logger for all of your contracts. I used to manage my MM contracts this way since they don't appear on my own profile and are hard to find without going through old Convo's, PM's, etc. I would just sort them by CID. These days, I just manually add the contracts CID record to my MM log for both vouches and record keeping purposes (things to help me avoid repeat-scammers, recognize speech patterns to detect said repeat-scammers, and some other stuff that uses AI).

I'd be curious to see what DemonAsylum thinks about this idea since he currently deals with the most contracts out of anyone.

Maybe use the api to build a contract manager for yourself, with better ui, and export capabilities.

I'll think on this more and consider implementation.

Thank you for the suggestion.
Will be a nice idea for vendors i think , so it may help them in their sales
