No, fake contests can get you banned; Omni has said this before.

I didn't ask about Fake Contests. I know those. OP doesn't deliver and get a closed account. However, what if OP instead of not delivering, merely extends the date by two months? Or even a day or two? Or doubles the replies 'till the reward gets sent out? Or changes what you have to do?

As Viral said, maybe extending it once could be understood but the requirements should expire. i.e. users can change their sig etc.

Tiszy was different. He had it 100 and he would get vouches and stuff. Now you expect him to give all those prizes for under 100 posts? Usually I'd day it's not allowed but he started a kinda new contest. He mentioned he had staff permission for the first time and I think it was just a bit of a confusion. Hence forcing him to keep the contest open and do it under 100 posts when I believe the first thread wasn't entirely his fault would be a bit unfair. It's a new thread and a new thing.

That's my OPINION on Tiszy's contest. Normally it shouldn't be allowed but he didn't predict this it seems.

Tiszy hasn't changed a prize at all, big thumbs up to him for keeping his word. He did, however, change how many posts are required before the contest closes.

I'm pretty sure if this is about mine giveaway, and if it is so;

I only changed the posts required for the thread to ble closed. Extending it, yes. Why?

1. SO many joined, so the goal were reach quite fast, so I extended it so more people could join.
2. From 500 - 600 is the cause I'm REALLY busy and got into some IRL issues.

Anyways, I've not changed ANY prize at all, or any reqs. I changed from my last contest to this since I thought my last one wasn't allowed even though it is allowed.

But why complain about a contest? Free stuff, lol.

They're complaining because if it goes unchecked or unmodded people could just do one of the following:

1) Say they notified the winner when in fact they did not. They only said they did.
2) People could just keep extending it a mass amount of times until people just naturally forget about it.
3) People could just keep changing the requirements and then people will just say "fuck it" and leave.

If it goes unchecked, people could massive abuse it (which they may already anyway), which is why people are complaining
about the contest terms and why they shouldn't be allowed to be changed.

About your last sentence, Nothing against you as their are absolutely no requirements to join the contest but their are many people who ask people to wear signatures, post in their sales thread etc.
