Someone set a BIOS password on my PC, and I have no idea what it is or how to remove it. Any ideas?

If I do remember correctly Hiren's BootCD has the option to remove/crack the BIOS password. Go and check it out.

reset the CMOS,if you look closely there is a battery in the motherboard a button cell,just remove it and put it back it will reset you bios no more password.

How do I clear the CMOS?

Clearing the CMOS memory will cause you to lose all customized settings in the BIOS. Make sure that you only do this if it is absolutely necessary. Before beginning, make a note of all BIOS settings on your system.(RESETTING BIOS PASSWORD )

To clear the CMOS:

Turn off all peripheral devices connected to the computer. Disconnect the computer’s power cord from the AC power source (wall outlet or power adapter).
Remove the computer cover.
Locate the battery on the board.

With a medium flat-bladed screwdriver, gently pry the battery free from its connector. Note the orientation of the “+” and “-” on the battery.
Leave the battery out for 10 - 15 minutes, for the CMOS to lose the settings.
Replace the battery in the connector, orienting the “+” and “-” correctly.
Replace the computer cover.
Turn the system back on.

You will need to reset the date and time in the BIOS Setup after clearing the CMOS.

Like Davy said you could use Hiren's Boot CD as it's got a BIOS password reset option on there or simply remove the CMOS. You will have to leave it out for a few minutes before it will reset, or you can move a jumper on your motherboard over the pins to reset the BIOS. Just keep in mind that you'll lose any custom made settings.

all you gotta do is to reset CMOS thats what i do when my nephew ruins my pc

you cant use Hiren's Boot CD , as you cant boot anything before unlock bios password

remove the CMOS battery for a few minuites then re-insert it try that bro
