I use two different options depending on what i am doing if i am downloading torrents i use a custom install of OpenVPN.

Normal privacy protections well i do not handle black hat material anymore i work mostly on the legal side so protonvpn works just fine.

If you are looking for insane privacy setup openvpn yourself or something similar any paying options has their limits of what they can legally do before they sell you out.

All paid services have two options when the hammer comes down either close up shop or give you up and anyone willing to loose millions of dollars over a random user is a pipe dream.
